Biography
B. London 1955
Piers Ottey trained at Chelsea School of Art and has been practising as an Artist since the 70s. He works primarily in oils, often on imposing or dramatic landscapes, both at home and abroad, which, like all of his work, include a focus on the interplay between abstract and figurative elements. However, the human form is never far from his imagination and figure studies have been a mainstay of his artistic output since training at Chelsea School of Art, where he studied under some of the Euston Road artists including Myles Murphy.
Ottey’s work is in private, corporate and public collections the world over.
