Sydney Jessett (1885-1961) was a prolific and gifted landscape artist whose work spanned the period from before his service in the First World War to his retirement in Lyme Regis. He is a largely forgotten artist despite the efforts of his family and the Lyme Regis Museum who have promoted his memory.
