Biography
Baron Avro Manhattan (1914 – 1990) was an Italian-born aristocrat, exiled to the UK during the second Italo-Ethiopian war. An Intellectual who attended both the Sorbonne and the London School of Economics, Manhattan was a writer, poet and artist, well-remembered for his work’s vehement stance against the Roman Catholic Church.
